The Commission is the amount paid by the charter company to Yachtingverse in appreciation of the seamless services offered. When a booking is successfully made through our platform, a commission, calculated as a percentage of the total booking fee agreed upon by YachtingVerse and the charter company, becomes payable. We offer the flexibility for adjust the agreed percentage for promotional or other considerations. This commission is invoiced to the charter company for each booking, and upon the completion of a booking by a guest, the commission is to be paid to the Yachtingverse. It stems from the utilization of our platform and any services directly or indirectly linked to the Yachtingverse activities. The commission is subject to any applicable domestic regulations in effect during the booking, such as taxes, for which the Yachtingverse may issue relevant invoices to the charter company. Our commission structure is percentage-based, as per the agreements between YachtingVerse and the charter company, calculated on the full Booking Fee for each posting on our platform that results in a successful transaction. This fee is deducted from the initial payment to the charter, ensuring a streamlined and transparent process for all parties involved.
While we understand the desire to communicate directly with the guest, we kindly request that all communications take place through our platform until the booking is confirmed. Our team is dedicated to displaying your charter effectively and securing bookings on your behalf. Pre-booking communication should be routed through our agents or the Messaging feature if you receive a direct request. To ensure the integrity of the platform, we advise against sharing personal contact details through Messaging, as this could lead to the suspension of your company page. You'll add equipment details while listing your boat, ensuring a comprehensive overview for potential charterers. Extras: Now, if you're looking to go above and beyond, head to your dashboard and glide over to the "Extras" section on the right. It's your treasure trove of additional services or equipment available for a separate fee. Click on the "Add Extras" button, choose the service or equipment, specify the boat it applies to, set the price, payment options, and don't forget to indicate whether the charge is per booking, per day, per week, or per person. The guest is required to make a down payment of 50% of the total amount within 3 days after confirming the reservation. After this process, the guest can cancel the reservation within 7 days. The remaining amount will be paid 4 weeks before boat delivery. All bank charges are the responsibility of the guest. Whatever the reason, if the guest cannot pick up the boat on the predetermined date, he can find another guest to rent the boat instead. If he cannot find another guest and has to cancel the tour, he is obliged to pay the boat owner as follows; 10% of the total reservation amount for cancellations after the final reservation 30% of the total reservation amount for cancellations 90 to 60 days before the start of the tour 50% of the total reservation amount for cancellations between 59 and 30 days before the start of the tour 100% of the total reservation amount for cancellations 29 days or less before the start of the tour.
